OPTION 1 : IN FRANKFURT / OUT PARIS (12 DAYS/11 NIGHTS)

Day 1: Frankfurt – Bonn – Cologne – Amsterdam (370 km)

From Frankfurt, we will set out for Bonn, DE, which was the capital of West Germany from 1949-1990. We’ll see the Old Town Hall on the edge of the city marketplace square, and then visit Beethoven Haus, the birthplace of composer Ludwig Van Beethoven. After, the bus will take us to Cologne, DE to see the Cologne Cathedral and its world-famous twin-spires that attract more than 20,000 admirers a day. After lunch and some free time to browse a Cologne shopping area, we’ll finish our day’s travel by heading to Amsterdam or nearby city for the night.

Day 2: Amsterdam – Zaandam – Amsterdam (321 km)

Call in at the hugely popular model town of Zaanse Schans. Next, you’ll back to Amsterdam. After visiting a well-known diamond factory, you can take an optional hour-long pre-dinner canal cruise, Then walk to one of the city’s grandest areas, Dam Square. You’ll have photo opportunities here, free time for shopping or further sightseeing, and then round the day off with dinner.
From mid-March to mid-May the tour will also visit Keukenhof Garden.

Day 3: Amsterdam – Brussels – Paris (437 km)

In the morning, we will drive from Amsterdam to Brussels, BE, stopping along the way at the Atomium to take pictures. Upon our arrival, we will visit the Grand Place and see the Manneken Pis. We will head to Paris, FR for the evening, where guests are invited to take an optional night tour of the city.

Day 4: Paris – Versailles – Paris (34 km)

Visit famous attractions in Paris, such as the majestic and symbolic Arc de Triomphe, the bustling and lively Champs-Elysees, the Place de la Concorde, which was once the site of the guillotine during the French Revolution, Napoleon’s Tomb and the Invalides, and pass by the centuries-old Notre-Dame Cathedral and the iconic Eiffel Tower towering on the banks of the Seine River. Finally, you’ll travel on the coach out through the Parisian suburbs to the splendid Palace of Versailles. In the evening, you can enjoy one of our optional Paris evening shows.

Day 5: Paris

Begins with a leisurely cruise along the river Seine. After an lunch, we visit to the Louvre, where will enhance your experience and allow you to browse through hundreds of works in just a few hours. Afterwards, you have an option of having a French 4 course dinner and show experience or spend time shopping at the legendary department stores Galeries Lafayette.

Day 6: Paris – Lucerne (486 km)

Today we will board a luxury coach in Paris and enjoy a scenic drive through the French countryside en route to the mountains of Switzerland. Passing through Basel, located at the point where the Swiss, French, and German borders meet, we will eventually reach the lakeside city of Lucerne, nestled at the foot of the snow-capped Swiss Alps. If time allows, you will have a chance to shop or take pictures.

Day 7: Lucerne – Milan – Venice (432 km)

Head south from Lucerne through spectacular Switzerland and into northern Italy, where your first stop will be Milan, fashion capital of the world. Your orientation tour will introduce you to the city’s iconic sights, including the vast Gothic cathedral (Duomo). You’ll also see the planet’s oldest shopping mall, the 19thcentury Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, where you can wander among the boutique shops and have lunch in one of the refined cafes. After enjoying the many delights of Milan, you’ll head to another vintage Italian city: Venice.

Day 8: Venice – Rome (393 km)

After breakfast, we will take a tour of Venice, IT by way of its famous canal system. Begin with a waterbus ride to San Marco Island, we will stop at the Piazza San Marco, home of Saint Mark’s Basilica, and then see the Bridge of Sighs. Afterwards you’ll have a chance to see some traditional Venetian craftwork at close quarters with a demonstration by Murano glassblowers. Of course, the ultimate Venice activity is to take a gondola ride through the Grand Canal, and for most people this optional excursion is a must. We will spend the night in the Rome, IT area.

Day 9: Rome – Vatican City – Arezzo (183 km)

Your day in Rome starts with a visit to the famous Colosseum. Then get up close to the nearby Arch of Constantine. We will then visit the magnificent Reunification Memorial Hall, the Victor Emmanuel II National Monument. Afterwards, you are heading to the smallest country in the world, The Vatican City. Here you’ll marvel at St Peter’s Basilica. In the afternoon we’ll depart for Arezzo.

Day 10: Arezzo – Florence – Pisa – Genoa (268 km)

Today, we will tour Florence, IT. Begin the day by taking in a wonderful panoramic overview of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo. Next, we can see a demonstration of the traditional craft of leatherworking at close quarters in a local workshop. From here enjoy a guided walk around Florence’s many highlights, including the Ponte Vecchio over the Arno, the Piazza del Duomo and Campanile Tower. Pass the Uffizi Gallery. We will have some free time in Florence before we leave for Pisa, IT to see the Leaning Tower. We will head to Genoa nearby city for the night.

Day 11: Genoa nearby city – Monaco – Grasse – Nice – Cannes – Avignon (588 km)

In the morning, we will depart for the French Riviera in the south of France. Around noon, we will arrive inthesmall country of Monaco. Monte Carlo, a picturesque city between the mountains and the sea, is a glamorous destinationand a paradise for the world’s wealthy. We will visit the Monaco Royal Palace and enjoy breath taking views of the country from the hilltops. The south of France is known for its perfume production, and along the way, we will stop in a perfume-producing town to visit a perfume factory, where participants can choose their favorite scents. Next, we will head to the leisure resort city of Nice, where we will explore the Promenade des Anglais and the Bay of Angels. Afterward, we will drive to Cannes, famous for its international film festival, where participants can take photos at the festival venue and walk along the star-studded avenue marked with handprints of world-renowned celebrities. Inthe afternoon, we will leave the French Riviera and head to the hotel near Avignon

Day 12: Avignon – Paris (577 km)

Day 13: Paris – Reims – Luxembourg (365 km)

Today we will travel to Reims, FR. Here, we will see the Reims Cathedral. After, we will drive to Luxembourg to visit the Place de la Constitution and Adolphe Bridge.

Day 14: Luxembourg – Trier – Koblenz – Frankfurt (273 km)

In the morning we will leave Luxembourg for Trier, Germany. We will see the Porta Nigra and spend time at the Karl Marx Haus. From there we will drive to Koblenz, DE, where guests will have the chance to take a boat ride on the River Rhine. There will be a brief stopat the lively town of Rudesheim, depending on road conditions at the time. In the afternoon, the tour will arrive in Frankfurt, where participants will visit the city’s center, including Romerberg Square, St. Paul’s Church and the bustling shopping streets.

Day 1: Frankfurt – Prague (410 km)

After boarding the luxury coach in Frankfurt, sit back and enjoy a scenic ride through some classic German country side en-route to the Czech Republic. Prague, one of Europe’s most ornate cities, is your first destination. We will arrive in the evening, ready to discover this charming capital city with its fairy-tale architecture, the following morning.

Day 2: Prague – Bratislava (289 km)

Your Prague adventure begins with a spectacular walk along the Royal Route, start from the top of Castle Hill in the Hradcany district, and then tour Prague Castle. Further exploration then heads off around the imposing gothic St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, St. George’s Basilica and along Golden Lane. Later we will stroll across the iconic Charles Bridge, and on through the winding alleys to the Old Town Square, where you can see the City Hall and the Astronomical Clock. After lunch in the square, our coach will make the scenic transfer from Prague to the hotel in or near the Slovakian capital, Bratislava.

Day 3: Bratislava – Budapest (200 km)

One of the best ways of seeing Budapest is by taking a river cruise. After a morning of activity, you’ll relax over lunch at Buda Palace, and then have a chance to look at the exhibitions in the Budapest History Museum and Hungarian National Gallery, or do a spot of souvenir shopping. Next you’ll explore both sides of the city on a cultural and historic tour. Highlights on the Buda side of the Danube include the towered terrace of Fisherman’s Bastion, the medieval Matthias Church and a walk up to the summit of Gellert Hill for panoramic views. While over in Pest the sights include the expansive Heroes’ Square and Hungary’s dramatic riverside Parliament Building. In the evening, you can choose to round off an eventful day with an optional dinner in the heart of Budapest, where you can sample traditional dishes such as goose liver, goulash, duck leg and local wine, accompanied by Hungarian folkdance and music.

Day 4: Budapest – Lake Balaton – Zagreb (311 km)

In the morning, you will have a wonderful drive to Lake Balaton, it’s one of the best Resort in Hungary. Then you will have a wonderful drive to the Croatian capital Zagreb. The ancient city is full of beautiful Gothic architecture, decorations are exquisitely crafted. Together with Mediterranean cuisine and locally produced wines, as well as the friendly Croatian hospitality, Zagreb is sure to be a wonderful experience. You will visit the city’s highlights such as the Zagreb Cathedral, the Ban Jelacic Square and the Church of St. Mark.

Day 5: Zagreb – Plitvice Lakes National Park – Zadar (303 km)

Today you will enjoy a guided tour into the Plitvice Lakes National Park.

Plitvice Lakes National Park Founded in 1949, this beautiful Croatian park, near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, is one of Southeast Europe’s oldest national parks. It is full of breathtaking landscapes and stunning geological formations.

Day 6: Zadar – Split – Dubrovnik (352 km)

After breakfast you will enter the ancient city of Zadar. The city has a strong religious atmosphere, still retaining the narrow streets and buildings of the middle ages. It’s like going back in time. Close to the waterfront, you can admire the modern Sea Organ and Sun Salutation, an amazing solar light display. Then you will head to Split. Among the ancient Roman style buildings this city has, the most famous are the ruins of Diocletian’s Palace, which was built in the fourth century AD.

Day 7: Dubrovnik

Today we’ll touring Dubrovnik. You will see the famous places: the Old Town, the city walls, the defensive tower, the Recto’s palace, and the Franciscan Monastery. You can take a cable car to go up in the mountain and admire the beauty of the city. Your day of heaven on earth will ends with an overnight stay in Dubrovnik or city nearby.

Day 8: Dubrovnik – Pocitelj – Blagaj – Mostar – Sarajevo (165 km)

First stop today is Pocitelj. You also see stunning Blagaj with its Dervish Monastery nestled into a 200 meter high cliff and surrounded by crystal clear streams. Then you head on to the ancient city of Mostar, to cross the magnificent ancient arch bridge and capture the beautiful scenery on both sides of the river. After visiting this ancient city of poetry and paintings, you drive to the hotel and stay in Sarajevo or city nearby.

Day 9: Sarajevo – Vinkovci (162 km)

Sarajevo was once an important gateway to the East. Its profound historical imprint, which includes the assassination at the Latin Bridge that caused the First World War, and the “Sarajevo Meeting of Cultures Line” on the ground, can still be found in the Old Town. After the visit of Sarajevo, you will cross the border into Croatia.

Day 10: Vinkovci – Pecs – Budapest (262 km)

Departing in the morning and returning to Hungary – you visit Pecs. Located between the Danube and the Drava, it is one of the most attractive cities in Hungary, with a pleasant climate and long history. Highlight is the Pécs Cathedral towering over central Szent István Square. You drive back to Budapest in the afternoon.

Day 11: Budapest – Vienna (243 km)

Today we will enter the city of Vienna, AT Austria’s capital. Begins at one of the city’s most popular attractions, Schonbrunn Palace. After lunch in this refined setting, you will take a driving tour past many grand, famous buildings, including the City Hall, the Austrian Parliament, Hofburg Palace and Heroes’Square. In the afternoon, you’ll have some shopping time, before adding the Wiener Staatsoper (opera house). Later, optional for dinner in the heart of the city or visit St. Stephen’s Cathedral, before taking a stroll in Stadtpark. In the evening, we recommend the option of attending a Viennese waltz concert, which will allow you the unforgettable experience of hearing the music of Mozart and Strauss in the place where it was composed.

Day 12: Vienna – Mondsee – Munich (363 km)

In the morning, we will depart from Vienna and head to Munich. On the way, we will visit the Mondsee, a beautiful town in the Alps. Upon our arrival, guests will have time to explore the Marienplatz and the New Town Hall, or you can enjoy a German beer in one of the beer gardens before going to the hotel. We will spend the night in Munich or nearby city.

Day 13: Munich – Vaduz – Mt Titlis – Lucerne – Zurich (574 km)

From our hotel in Munich or nearby city, we will travel to Mount Titlis in Switzerland, where we will take the Rotair to the top. On the way, we will take a photo stop in one of the smallest country in Europe – Lichtenstein. After lunch we will make our way to Lucerne, CH to view lovely Lake Lucerne. We will also visit the Lion Monument. At the end of our tour, guests will have some free time to explore the city. We will head to Zurich, CH or nearby city for the night.

Day 14: Zurich – Titisee – Frankfurt (367 km)

The tour begins in Zurich, a city with a reputation as a leading global financial centre. There is chance for a picture stop at the impressive Lake Zurich, before moving on to Rhine Falls. Next you’ll cross back into Germany and the Black Forest. Here you will see the beautiful lake Titisee, where you can stop at one of the many lakeside cafes to enjoy some of the region’s best Black Forest cherry gateaux. Cuckoo clocks are made in Titisee, making this the ideal place to pick up a few souvenirs from the local shops and you’ll also get to see a demonstration of how these magical mechanisms work.
